The Institute's Three Focus Center
The Learning Center will be the first virtual entity bridging tech-innovation, media platforms, and sciences. The Epicenter's goals are to complete the objectives decreed in Phase III while exploring evolutionary teaching methodologies of the 21st century in customized, age-appropriate formats. Within the Epicenter will be the Laboratory invoking state education, corporation, and industry sector support to observe results in both real and controlled environments of discovery while comparing methods/platforms for (1) advancing career and technical knowledge of employees, (2) progressing teacher/professor knowledge/skill dissemination of information and critical thinking ability, (3) improving the effectiveness and efficiency of student learning aptitude, and (4) engaging parents and the community at large in the advancement of academic and career opportunity, serving as a hub for collective municipal efforts.
The Sciences Epicenter will be established to study and understand the basis of improving inherent cognitive abilities, both genetic and environmental in origin. Similar focus will be on ameliorating learning disorders, cognitive impairment, and neurological disorders and their root causes. Many substances new to the last century may have a significant adverse effect on our youth, as do the increasing neurological diseases affecting the population as a whole. We must understand the consequences of "progress" and reverse those that harm our physical and mental development. The Sciences Epicenter will work as a cross-disciplinary partnership of knowledge in the following areas: Brain science, Physical sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Nano-science, Earth sciences, Eco-environmental science, Socio-economic sciences, Agro-science, Medical science, Computer science, and Engineering science.
Mind Science Epicenter
This Epicenter is the "thought provoking" center. It will seek to gain knowledge about the human mind's capacity to reach beyond rationality. Mind Sciences will be dedicated to researching modern mental processes using both brain imaging sciences and behavioral sciences, an assimilation that goes beyond logic and reasoning into areas of creative and intuitive cognition. It will study human thought processes that distinguish cognition development using logic to analyze the nature of things toward the development of ideas and theories based on "sense." Improving human capacity in principle to include physical, mental and spiritual theories may ultimately have great impact on the condition of the human mind and body.
