We're no mathematicians, but the probability of you being one of the millions of people who've tuned into the Barbie movie this this year is pretty high. Hey, it takes a village to get a movie to reach $1 billion at the box office in record speed! And at this point, we know the Barbie influence is real. It's evident in everything, including these Barbie-inspired recipes and the new, fabulous collectable dolls that came straight from the movie. (Plus, we just know that there are going to be tons of Barbie Halloween costumes this year!) The only thing left to do is live out our Barbie-world fantasy by visiting the places where the Barbie movie was filmed!

Turns out, you won't be able to visit all of them! Barbie was filmed in some incredible locations around the world—some of them being visitable, others, not so much. Either way, this won't take away from the magic of the film. Instead, it just builds on how much imagination went into it! Well, here's a rundown on all of the Barbie movie filming locations—and info on which places you can visit in real life!

Where was Barbie filmed?

This might surprise you, but most of the Barbie movie was filmed in the United Kingdom. Barbie is a Warner Bros. project, and the motion pictures company has a studio in Leavesden, England—which is where the majority of the film was produced. In fact, the location is where Barbie Land was brought to life.

With that said, all of the scenes that take place in Barbie Land simply don't exist in real life, therefore, you cannot pay it a visit. Though, what you saw on screen was anything but fake. We'll explain: A lot went into the making of the Barbie Land, including loads of paint, props, and precise-scaling.

Speaking with Architectural Digest, production designer Sarah Greenwood, set decorator Katie Spencer, and film-director Greta Gerwig explained how everything in Barbie Land was physically created from scratch. That includes the beach, the palm trees, buildings, and houses (yes, that includes Barbie's Dream House).

"We were literally creating the alternate universe of Barbie Land," Gerwig explained. "Everything needed to be tactile, because toys are, above all, things you touch." So, you know the vibrant blue skies and evergreen mountains you saw in the film? Those weren't a product of CGI, and instead painted set props!

The trio also went on to inform us that the inspiration for creating Barbie Land came from Palm Springs and the town's idyllic, yet flashy layout. (It all makes sense now!)

When you saw Barbie and Ken venture out of Barbie Land into the real world, you might have found the location to be familiar. That's because the real-world scenes were shot in Los Angeles, California! When we got a first look at Barbie, we saw Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling rollerskating along the outskirts of Venice Beach. It turns out it ended up being a location used sparsely, but still—it's one place you're able to visit!
