All across the country, families and friends are getting ready to fire up the grill!

After all, America's birthday is right around the corner and there's no better way to celebrate than with a 4th of July menu that's filled with grilling recipes. But what exactly are people grilling?

According to the folks at Google Trends, people are seeking out different grilling recipes depending on where they live! They've pooled the data and created a map to showcase which are the most searched foods to grill in every state. And the results might just surprise you!

While there were certainly a handful of states seeking out burger recipes and how to grill chicken, other states showed interest in how to grill pork chops, asparagus, and even eggplant.

For the fish lovers, states like Kansas, Vermont, and Rhode Island all searched for how to grill salmon, while Floridians sought out how to grill mahi mahi.

On the other hand, meat lovers in Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas all showed interest for how to grill ribs.

Wondering what The Pioneer Woman's home state searched for most? That would be none other than corn on the cob! Luckily, we have plenty of corn recipes to try this summer!

Along with the most searched for grilled foods, Google Trends also revealed some other fun 4th of July trivia, including the most searched 4th of July dips in the United States:

  1. S'mores dip
  2. Corn dip
  3. Buffalo chicken dip
  4. Fruit dip
  5. Bruschetta dip

And the most searched summer sides ahead of the holiday:

  1. Pasta salad
  2. Baked beans
  3. Coleslaw
  4. Macaroni salad
  5. Watermelon salad
