Meet The Final Cast of 'The Crown' Season 6

The Role: This season will mark the close of Queen Elizabeth II's story, continuing where we left off in season 5. Since this is the final season of The Crown, it will not touch on the Queen's death, and instead conclude the story in the early 2000s.

The Actor: Imelda Staunton is an Academy Award nominated actress who is known for her roles in movies such as Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Vera Drake.

The Role: We'll watch as Prince William embarks on his University of St Andrews journey, his newfound romance with Kate Middleton, and how he navigates the death of his mother, Princess Diana. It'll be both an enlightening and heavy season for Prince William.

The Actor: Ed McVey is a relatively new actor, with his only other credit in Where Loyalty Lies. Though, he studied acting at the Drama Centre London in 2021—and had participated in a few plays local to his residence, such as Rosmerholm and Government Inspector.

The Role: We're finally introduced to Kate Middleton this season, playing the obvious love interest of Prince William. The pair will meet on the campus grounds of St. Andrews, showing just how their relationship sparked.

The Actor: Believe it or not, The Crown will be Meg's first major role! The 19-year-old British actress was chosen after she submitted a self-taped audition.

The Role: Prince Harry will be of much larger focus in season 6 than he was in the past. Specifics surrounding the role are not yet revealed, but we can expect that it will center around his life as a new teen without his mother.

The Actor: Like many of his young counterparts, this will mark the first big-time role for Luther. He's a student at Arts University Bournemouth, where he's studying to become a director.

The Role: It's more than likely that The Crown will also focus on the death of Princess Margaret, who passed away in 2002. She was the sister of Queen Elizabeth II, making the situation all the more saddening.

The Actor: Lesley is well-known in the film and television scene, with Academy Award nominations and roles in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Ordinary Love, and Citadel.

The Role: The Duke of Edinburgh will see his story continued once more. As the Queen's husband and righthand man, we will watch him as he navigates some heavy topics in season 6.

The Actor: Jonathan is a Tony Award winning actor who is known for his works in The Two Popes, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Brazil.

The Role: Prince Charles married Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005, so the The Crown will likely feature this as one of the last major events of the season. We can expect to see Prince Charles through his adventure of love and new status.

The Actor: Dominic has an extensive career, with his notable roles as Jimmy McNulty in The Wire and Noah Solloway in The Affair (for which he earned a Golden Globe Award nomination).

The Role: Camilla Parker-Bowles' presence in The Crown has grown in season 5, and will expand even more in its' sixth and final season. With her wedding to Prince Charles potentially seeing a major highlight, we'll learn more on how Camilla will steer this transition.

The Actor: Olivia is no stranger to the small and big-screen, with her acting resume including projects like Rushmore, The Ghost Writer, and Peter Pan.

The Role: This will be an intense, and ultimately sad season for Princess Diana, as we know her death in 1997 will be at the forefront of the plot. Though, it's said that the actual car crash won't be shown, the events that took place before and after it will.

The Actor: Returning to her role in The Crown one last time, Elizabeth has featured in all sorts of films, such as The Great Gatsby, The Night Manager, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

The Role: Though the role of Queen Elizabeth II will be largely portrayed by Imelda Staunton in season 6, we'll see Claire Foy return to the role in the form of flashbacks.

The Actor: Claire was the first one to play Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, but has also appeared in the recently acclaimed film Women Talking, as well as The Girl in the Spider's Web and A Very British Scandal.

The Role: Similar to Claire, Olivia's feature as Queen Elizabeth II will be shown as flashbacks. Though, it'll definitely be nice to see them both back on our screens!

The Actor: Olivia is a widely successful Academy Award-winning actress. Outside of The Crown, she had a leading role in The Lost Daughter, The Father, and The Favourite.
