The 46-year-old was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, before moving to Australia to pursue his acting career. (That explains his dreamy accent!) He's a great dog dad.
After Jack found a stray dog in the woods in Virgin River, he gifted it to Charmaine to make her feel better. In real life, Martin is a proud dog dad to an adorably fluffy pup named Sammy.
