Alex Drummond's Easy Daily Makeup Routine

Thanks to Alex Drummond and her abundance of topnotch product recommendations, everything from our closets to our kitchens are now stocked with items we don't know how we ever lived without. She also has plenty of beauty suggestions that we can't get enough of, like her favorite lip mask that will forever remain in our bathroom cabinets. So, it's about time she graced us with her full everyday makeup routine!

After getting questions on her everyday look, Alex decided to share her go-to products and steps on her Instagram story. And we're so glad she did, because we definitely took notes on her “everyday glowy, natural makeup,” as she calls it. We might've also made a shopping list while watching. 😆

"I'm not a makeup guru by any means," she says, but we still love her advice all the same. If you're interested in trying out her beautiful makeup look for yourself, we've got the eight quick and simple steps below, so you can follow along at home and get the natural look of your dreams!

To start, Alex first creates the base of her look using the Tula Brightening Serum Skin Tint. She uses her fingers to rub it in, leaving her skin "looking glowy and fresh." Talk about makeup goals! She notes that this product is more of a tinted moisturizer with good, but not full coverage—just enough to even out any discoloration without looking and feeling too heavy. It also has SPF 30 protection and comes in 30 different shades!

Next, Alex kicks up the coverage by adding some concealer, but not too much. She uses the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer under her eyes and to cover any blemishes. She says it still provides full coverage without being cakey. And if you needed any more convincing, Alex has used this product for five or six years now. “I will never ever use another concealer," she says. Now that's some high praise!

To add some color and dimension to her skin, Alex then goes in with bronzer. She says this is the step that "makeup gurus would not approve of," but she feels confident with the way it looks, so why not? She uses a makeup brush to lightly apply all over her face and neck with the Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer. And according to her, it's "the best bronzer ever!" With that perfectly sun-kissed finish, we have to agree.

This is one of our favorite steps! Alex then brightens things up using the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. She admits this purchase was influenced by TikTok, but she's obsessed! And here's the really fun part: She mixes two vibrant shades to get her perfect rosy cheek. Using her fingers to tap the liquid blush right onto her cheeks, Alex first goes in with Joy then Happy. She says this blends out the product nicely. She also adds that a little goes a long way.

If you're really after that dewy look, you'll definitely want to add this step to your daily routine. Alex applies the Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight to the top of her cheekbones and the tip of her nose for a "nice little subtle glow." Bonus advice from Alex: You can also pat this product onto your eyelids as eyeshadow! She says she does this if she's going somewhere fancy.

Moving on to her eyes, Alex then adds mascara. For now, she uses the Grande Cosmetics Grande Mascara, but says "I have not found a mascara that I’m just like crazy about." We'll be sure to keep you updated if she does! But regardless of the product, Alex keeps it simple by applying a little mascara to her top lashes. If she wants to get fancy, she'll coat her bottom lashes as well.

To make sure her makeup look lasts all day, Alex tops it off by using the Tarte Shape Tape Stay Spray. She sprays it all over her face to set everything together and help the products blend, calling it “the best thing ever!” She says she loves both the smell and feel of it, and says it's refreshing, too.

For the final touch, Alex completes her natural makeup look with her aforementioned beloved lip balm. The LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask is her go-to for plump, moisturized lips. It also adds just the right amount of gloss.

And there you have it: A glowing, natural look that you can easily wear every day! Her last tip is it's better to apply your makeup using your fingers after they’ve been washed instead of brushes or sponges. She says this helps to avoid built up bacteria.
